Greer Jacks is a lawyer at the oldest law firm in British Columbia, Crease Harman LLP. Greer was called to the Bar in 2013. He articled with Crease Harman in 2012 and spent the first five years of his career there before leaving for another local firm to narrow his areas of practice. Then, after a short stint with a public sector corporation, he returned to Crease Harman in 2020.
Greer’s practice is mostly solicitor based, with a focus on advising banks with regard to loan transactions, businesses on a variety of matters from incorporation to dissolution, as well as advising clients on complex real estate transactions, developments, and estate planning.
Born and raised in the Victoria area, Greer enjoys wildlife photography, cycling, surfing and hiking.
Greer joined the board of GVHS because he is passionate about helping people and giving back to his community and the need for affordable housing for vulnerable people is of such importance in the Victoria area.
The things he appreciates most about living and working in the Victoria region are the opportunities for outdoor recreation and the proximity to nature.
