Kent is a principal at Verge Consulting, a boutique firm he launched in 2017 advising clients on issues such as strategic planning, communications, and the provision of stakeholder engagement services. Prior to consulting he held leadership roles in the BC and Canadian governments as a policy advisor and chief of staff. That was a big shift from his early career as an analytical and research chemist, though he finds his scientific background constantly helps in creative problem analysis.
Kent is on the GVHS board to support the fantastic work the Society does in building affordable housing on the South Island. Building homes for our neighbours is important and he is constantly thankful for the opportunity to contribute.
Kent notes that our community is vibrant, diverse and thriving. There’s nowhere else he’d rather call home.
